How we're funded

The Playscheme is a registered charity (Charity No: 514978) and as such we are totally reliant on generous donations. We have worked very hard over the last few years to streamline our operation and become financially viable. In the past the scheme's future has been under threat due to rising costs and mounting debts. We are only too aware of the knife edge we live on, knowing that one bad year could cause us serious financial problems.

We are eternally grateful for the generous sponsorship of Rowland Homes who have helped to ensure the scheme continues into the future. Rowland Homes have guaranteed the home of the Playscheme on their field in Farington and in addition to generous donations they also provide the Playscheme Mini-bus, an invaluable resource that is well used.

Our constant fund-raising continues throughout the year bringing in much needed funds. We organise our infamous bashes, paint balling events and a whole host of sponsored events.

A special mention must go to our partners who help to ensure our survival by providing us with goods and services at fantastic rates. We use a whole range of companies from plant hire companies and marquee hire through to transport providers and leisure venues.
