Teenz

The Teenz age group are the 12 to 14 year olds and are notoriously difficult to please! Teenz is slightly different in that they choose an activity group before the Playscheme and they follow a specialised program of activities through the week tailored to their interests. For 2007 the groups are:-

•  A- Just4Fun | This group is a mixture of activities for those who can't decide just what they want to do. They have the chance to do activities such as Bowling, Ice Skating, Swimming at Waves, and a whole lot more.

•  B – Outdoor Adventure | The Outdoor Adventure group follows a program of activities specifically focused on the Outdoors. Activities take place off-site at a local approved centre. They have the chance to do activities such as Archery, Raft-building, Orienteering, Cooking on an open fire and much more. This is in addition to our normal fun activities like Bowling.

•  C – World of Sport | World of Sport is as it's name suggests. The group don't follow just one sport but look at a wide range of sporting activities such as Thai boxing, Hockey, Crown Green Bowls, Football and more. We use qualified coaches where appropriate and also have specific outings to venues such as Football grounds and sports centres.

•  D – Health & Beauty | This is always a very popular group and is often over-subscribed. This group get the chance to work with a professional in the field of Beauty and get experience in a range of treatments and techniques.

As well as all our of-site activities we provide a massive range of on-site activities such as Pottery, Face-Painting, Badge-making and of course the infamous Big-Show! Each and every day on Playscheme the show is a constant centre of the whole scheme. It's full of fun competitions and silly games for all ages. It's sure to get messy on the Director's Tea Party on the Thursday and we have some major names from across the North-West.
